   Long blonde hair, kissed by the sun, and blue water up to your chin. Waves crashing on the rocks, a white sundress, a huge Indian head dress.
     I’m not describing a movie scene, I’m just setting you up for the first part of Nathalie’s Senior shoot.
    Nathalie and her mom came to me with very creative, solid ideas. They knew what they wanted. They had a vision. They lift it up to me to piece it all together beautifully.
   These images represent more to me than just a beautiful Senior girl. They represent how beautiful and fun the world can be, how special life is.
   During the whole session Nathalie was a little shy, but had the biggest smile and genuine laugh. I knew instantly we were going to catch moments that so many others try so hard to fake. Genuine happiness. Natural Beauty.

Gorgeous, Fun, Free, Dramatic Senior Session shot in Lexington, Michigan

   Photographing Mackenzie’s Senior Portraits was more like going on a fun road trip then “working.” 
  We started at the studio and took a few beautiful shots outdoors, under the willow, in the fern garden… we kept it very natural.
   Next we drove down the road for about a minute and stopped at a street corner. Nothing fancy- just a beautiful girl playing in the flowers, laying in the field. Simplistic and gorgeous.
   We carried on North to Lexington, Michigan where we stopped at a little coffee house and crabbed a couple of drinks while Mom did a little extra shopping, walking away with tasty wine and fresh local bread. We took a few shots in and around there and then scooted up the coast to a hidden, extremely rugged spot on the lake.
   We crawled and splashed around a crumbling boat dock as the sun set. It was literally, no pun intended, picture perfect. Check it out for yourself and go on this beautiful road trip with us!

Downtown Fashion Senior Shoot with Memphis High school Senior Photographer- ajbc photography

As you all know I love working with women, of any age. 
I extra love them when they come with an arsenal of cute boots, scarves, accessories to match every outfit.... and when they are this stunningly gorgeous, that never hurt either. ;) 
We started off at the home studio because her outfit matched the scenery perfectly. I was really hoping she might just accidentally forget that jacket and boots at my place.... but she didn't. haha ;) 
Next we hopped over to the Fort Gratiot Park. I know, as a photographer, that park gets a lot of "camera" use and I hate it when it's super obvious we're at a location that gets used often, by everyone, so we made sure we played in little hidden path ways to keep the shoot unique.
After that we swung down town and used the back streets of Port Huron and the new River Walk. Eventually I forced myself to stop, because in all reality, she was so natural, we probably could have kept going all day.
And you saw those eyes, right? They just draw you right in.
