Vintage Pin-Up with Retro Truck

Mom goes pin up- A gorgeous girl and a rusty old truck

a journey of going from being a
young woman, to a mom, and back again!

   I met Melissa about 3 years ago. Her friend had a pin up party (girls night!) and she booked a spot. There’s a shot of her laying laying down, hair fanned out, corset fitting perfectly, and it still stands as one of my favorite pin up shots I’ve ever done, to date. Her expression just screamed true pin up, which to me is sass and confidence.
   Thinking about who she is now… the fact that in person she is so genuinely sweet and happy… well… again, true pin up.    About a year or so after that we came back together again to do a maternity shoot. A very, very last minute maternity shoot. We’re talking days before her daughter was expected to be here! But we made it and those were amazing as well.    I was ecstatic to find out my perfect little pin up was coming back to me again this year for another shoot!! By this time her goal of dropping the baby weight had happened and she looked phenomenal.
   The first part of her session undoubtedly reminds me of Gilligan’s Island Mary Ann. Just that perfect, innocent, fun beautiful girl. This wasn’t done on purpose, and I think it’s mostly the outfit and the hair, but…
   When Melissa showed me what she had put together for the second part of our session I almost died! Polka dots and stockings. Oh my gosh. And buttons down the skirt… I just love it! This part was so much fun! As much as this was a wonderful way for her to put a mile marker on this time in her life and her progression of going from a petite young woman, to pregnant, to a mom, and back again… I heard her hubby was pretty happy with everything too!    This boudoir shoot will probably go down as one of my faves, due to the fact she looks like royalty in that round bed. I mean, she totally rocked this!

Alfie Jean- the pin up we all wish we were inside

Say hello to Alfie Jean. The cutest little lady you will ever meet. I promise you, yes, she was born in this time, yes, this is present day, and yes, she has this much class. 
When you talk to her she instantly transports you back in time though. The way she presents herself, and the way she speaks to you, her beauty is one of a kind, starting on the inside. 
She holds her own classes, empowering women and giving them tips on how to live the lifestyle of a pin up, because this isn't a hobby for Alfie- this is her way of life, which is a bit envious.

3 years ago I did a Pin Up event with a retro teal Chevy Pick Up Truck. 
Ever since then girls have been asking me if and when I'm going to bring it back. 

Well... that time has come. 

We're bringing the Retro Pick Up Pin Up Party back for you girls PLUS some other amazing stuff!

THIS time we'll be starting the morning off with Mimosas :) while you get your professional and classic pin up hair and makeup done. Red lips, cat eyes, curls, and bandanas. 

We suggest you bring your own wardrobe but we have some really cute pieces you can borrow or swap out once you get here, like adorable high wasted panty shorts!

Change and come OUTSIDE to the private 20 acres we'll be shooting amongst at my home studio. Feel free to climb around in, and on top of the truck, swirl around in our pond, or get lost in all the wild daisies on the property. We have several backdrops for whatever look you want to go for! 
Switch it up and come INSIDE for a clean pin up poster look like back in the day with adorable props to play with like old suitcases, cat eye classes, furry fabric, umbrellas, and so much more!

AFTERWARDS you come back to the studio for your own private in studio viewing of your collection. 
Out of the collection you will get to pick your top 5 images to take home that day on a flash drive with pritning rights (I have a killer lab I can send you to as well!)
