As a photographer, I watch the weather like a hawk on session days.
The other day- the weather man played a dirty trick on me, not letting me know about the rain that came, then scheduling rain later in the day, for it to turn around and be sunny again. I had to reschedule my session, so this is what I did with my time instead.

Down Town Port Huron holds Art Hop every few months- a really awesome night to get people down town, enjoying all the new awesome shops, cafes, restaurants, and art they have to offer. They also try to bring in local artists to display their work and be a part of it. I was super excited to be invited by The Cajun Gator to come and grab some shots of the night. Check out a sneak peek of the night:
This session was so amazing in the fact that this gorgeous woman wanted to be portrayed as a piece of art instead of a girl in pictures.
I can’t thank her enough for trusting me, telling me I was the only one who she knew could bring her vision to life and that she was putting no boundaries on me because she wanted to allow my creativity to embrace her idea and run away with it in a direction less visited during most of my sessions.
Here are a couple of the pieces we were in love with.
"I whip my hair back and forth..."
Had some fun in the studio today with some new equipment I bought over Christmas. Just NOW getting around to breaking out of my comfort zone and I am SO pumped about it.
You are also meeting my amazing intern for the first time, who does a pretty amazing hair flip
P.S. No photoshop was done to the hair- all done in studio, in camera.
And here's a fun little video about what's new in the studio
