Am I right?
Roberta came to me in need of some head shots and full body shots for her fitness Facebook  page and to build a portfolio. She's in the beginning stages of fitness competition and is ready to let companies and brands know about her! NO ONE is going to be turning her away! Her image is "Fit Biker Chick" and I think we pulled that look together pretty well!!

I LOVE working with creative, motivated women (and men too!) I LOVE seeing the first steps of their dreams coming together. I love hearing about their look, their goals, their strategy, their passions, their brand. It's something THEY have built, purely out of love and passion for what they do, from the ground up. I can SO relate and am SO HAPPY to help ANYONE in ANY stage of their business or goals. I can't wait to see how Roberta grows and succeeds after this shoot! I feel like professional images are the FIRST step to you are a.... professional! You are the part, you need to look the part, and people need to visually see you as that part. No more mirror selfies!

Meet one of AJBC Photography's Senior Reps. Nicole is a Senior at Marysville High School. She's my little voice in her school for the Class of 2015.
It's obvious why I chose her- not only is she beautiful and a little fashionista, she's also full or personality and sweet. I loved working with her. We hopped around from my home studio, to the beach, to downtown PortHuron, hit  Pine Grove Park and by the BlueWater Bridge (even if you can't tell, which was my goal.)
Take a look at what we did, she's totally model material. 

I was also super excited to see Zoey Deschanel wearing THIS Tory Burch dress on her show New Girl after we shot this. ;) Told you this girl had style.

Everyone has a light and dark side. One where you might want to whip your hair around and strike a hot pose when no one is looking, and one where you want to lay in a bright, beautiful field of roses. 
It's so fun when we show both of those sides in a boudoir session. We took the bedroom and the outdoors here during our session and the portraits turned out stunning! 
Plus, she is a flower designer at Christopher's Flowers, so how appropriate is this!?

Mommy and Me | A yoga session by ajbc photography ( port huron MI child photographer)

A strong independent woman. A yoga instructor. A mom. A beautiful soul who found herself, and then found ajbc photography- and then we created true beauty together.

If this doesn't empower you to push your boundaries, bush your body, and get outside and dance in the sunshine then I just don't know what will!

I met Jeni a little over a year ago. She booked a shoot for her little Amelia. It was over the top in every way. Oh my goodness. And Jeni was so on top of things. Getting the shoot done, using the images for thank yous for her themed birthday party, using the 2nd outfit and set of images for Easter cards. Everything was organized and perfect. 
A year later Jeni called me and said there had been a big change in her life and she was so excited to capture it. Having no clue what that meant I was really excited to meet with her in the studio and talk everything over. 
Jeni had quit her Corporate America job and found a calmer lifestyle through yoga. The need she felt to be perfect, over the top, and utterly organized was gone. She was all about living in the moment, and loving life. The change was drastic, but in a way that made you realize- she had found herself, and her life was going to be better because of it. 

It was an amzing experience working with Jeni again. Her spirit, her alertness, and the way she expressed herself through words AND through her body with yoga was something I really connected to. And the way her daughter is falling in to footsteps of being so free and unique- it's a beautiful thing to watch.
